Townhouse motel is not a bad place to stay Yes there are a couple things that can be updated so I can just stay there last night The Wi-Fi kept on going on and off TV did not work but it does that it is a good place to stay for the price of money that you have to pay comfortable beds comes with TV refrigerator microwave prices are reasonable
What a fantastic place to stay on a limited budget. There are comfortable beds, clean rooms and a friendly atmosphere at The Town House Motel. The owners, Sam and Marcia along with their hospitable staff will make you feel welcome. If you're coming to Freeport and need a comfortable place to stay, this will do. There are plenty of restaurants and business nearby.
It was a great experience for me. I admired the manager in charge. His nickname was Am. My stay there was for one week. The price for one week was very affordable. I will go there again whenever I am in town.
New one fixed and cleaned everything up thanks for not letting it turn into another sore thumb in freeport like the previous owner left it
Been staying here since April and the owner and his wife are awesome people that appreciate good people staying at there motel. They care and work with people and they care about there motel and are proud owners. The rooms are spacious and nice and it feels like home when your away from home.

Good god what do you people expect for a $35 single room in a small, crap town like Freeport, IL. Townhouse Motel is run by a great guy who's been here for 26 years. It's an old hotel, so it's a bit run down. There are plenty of big box hotels with the 5 star treatment you want for over 100$ a room here in town. As a truck driver I've stayed in dozens of places. So what.... the sheets have a stain on them, you paid $35 for a single instead of $50 for a double, and you're ragging that the room was small? Don't be a cheapskate. THM doubles are 10x10 larger than the 100$ doubles at any major chain in town. IF you want 5 star service, go to a 5 star hotel and pay through the nose. If you want to rent from good people, trying to run a small town business and keep it affordable for the working man/woman, then Townhouse is where you want to be. Sam the owner, will share a cup of coffee in the office with you, and talk to you all night if you're lonely. The housekeeping staff is friendly and tries it's best to meet customer needs. And the location is better than any of the big box ones. THM is surrounded by fast food and restaurants in walking distance. Every other major hotel chain here you HAVE to have delivery or take a taxi, of which there are very few in town. THM is a block from the Lincoln Mall and Bargain village, an awesome indoor flea mall with the coolest antiques. You people with your "poor me, the faucet was a little slow" attitude can go stay at the Baymont.
Very nice motel the owner is very polite and caring and goes out of his way to make sure your happy will stay again when I am in area
